libipc-shareable-perl software package provides module to access IPC shared memory segments through perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libipc-shareable-perl
libipc-shareable-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libipc-shareable-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libipc-shareable-perl *
You will get with libipc-shareable-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
